Weird Japanese-to-English translations hold a proud place in video game history. From such meme-tastic classics as "All your base are belong to us" in "Zero Wing" to "A winner is you" from "Pro Wrestling," language hasn't always been able to make a clean jump across cultures. I'm guessing that a similar translation outsourcing process must have been behind some "Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition" instructions that were captured by a quick-camera'd Twitter user.

Yun and Yang appear to be getting some more company the "Super Street Fighter 4" arcade machine, if not the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions of the game as well. Evil Ryu, as well as a powered-up version of Akuma — now popularly referred to as "Oni Akuma" — showed up in some purportedly leaked 360 achievement updates at the end of November, and a new, very official trailer now features them both on-screen.

In the wake of the recently revealed costume downloads for "Super Street Fighter 4" and addition of Yun and Yang to the game's arcade release, Capcom left the question to simmer about whether or not the new fighters would be showing up on consoles. Luckily, "SSF4" producer Yoshinori Ono has implied that he's on the case and wants to make such a thing happen.

In all the teaser hubbub about new fighters and costumes surrounding the "Super Street Fighter Fighter 4" arcade game, many of us wondered when the other shoe might drop on some new DLC for the console editions. Well, Yun and Yang haven't been announced for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation just yet, but some costumes have.

Capcom's prolonged tease of at least two new fighters in the "Super Street Fighter 4" arcade edition has crossed the line of secrecy with a location test, and could become official, on-the-record information later this week at the Tokyo Game Show. While new character costumes have already been leaked officially via one of the game's producers, teaser images and purported firsthand accounts elsewhere on the Internet confirm that "Street Fighter 3" twins Yun and Yang will replace the two mysterious silhouettes that Capcom previously positioned on their machine's character select screen.

If you can read the Japanese-language "Super Street Fighter 4" blog that Capcom maintains, you've been privy to some hardcore teasing about the all-but-announced new fighters for the "SSF4" arcade edition. The blog traditionally updates on Fridays, and last Friday's entry anticipated something important seven days down the road.

The "Super Street Fighter 4" arcade machine looked as though it might be getting a new challenger or two last month, and far from denying such plans, Capcom seems to have encouraged speculation and in doing so confirmed that at least one new face is on its way.

The "Street Fighter 4" series may end with "Super Street Fighter 4," but that doesn't necessarily mean that Capcom is done adding new warriors to the their latest SF title. In fact, a new Japanese advertisement for the "Super Street Fighter 4" arcade machine contains a cryptic tease that may leave the door open for new challengers.

Capcom came through with those additional fighters in a new update for "Street Fighter 4" on iPhone. If you visited the App Store in the last day or so and downloaded the recommended content, you should now see Zangief and Cammy on the character select screen.
