There's a strain of game that I think I'll never quite "get," and it's the ones where players are allowed to see themselves in the game. I'm always curious about the appeal and whether there's a prolonged sense of pleasure at seeing oneself on the TV. Personally, I'd rather not—I have a healthy shame of my body and its occasionally lurching, often awkward movements.

Kinect game prices

Microsoft still hasn't announced an official price point for Kinect, despite Amazon.com, Best Buy and Walmart all opening pre-orders up at $149.99 a pop. That hasn't stopped Amazon from going ahead and posting prices for Kinect's launch titles, however, and right now "Kinectimals," "Kinect Adventures!," "Kinect Sports" and "Kinect Joy Ride" are all priced at $59.99 there.
