The world got a look at some desert landscapes and quick in-game clips from "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception" over the weekend, but only Jimmy Fallon got the privilege of actually picking up a controller. The Naughty Dog crew brought a burning château level onto his show, and though Fallon didn't seem to be very nimble with the controls despite his familiarity with "Uncharted 2," he did give it a go and fall through a collapsing wooden floor while cracking the kind of jokes you will only hear on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

Cliff Bleszinski settled almost a week of "Gears of War 3" speculation on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" Monday and premiered a first-look trailer titled "Ashes to Ashes." Over the course of CliffyB's chat with Jimmy and Microsoft's subsequent marketing push, which kicked off shortly thereafter, lots of info nuggets rolled out. Among these were the game's international release dates, slated for 2011 on April 5th, 7th and 8th in North America, Japan and Europe, respectively.

Justin Bieber may have appeared last Thursday on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" instead of Epic Games' Cliff Bleszinski, but the design director will still go on tonight, and only then will we know if he's going to talk about "Gears of War 3," "Bulletstorm" or something else entirely. Since the "Gears of War 3" release ostensibly leaked on Xbox Live and a press release confirmed "Bulletstorm" today, CliffyB has been living it up in New York and having a grand time tweeting teases and keeping everyone guessing about his agenda.

"Gear of War" fans' ears perked up last week when Epic Games' design director Cliff Bleszinski tweeted about a new announcement scheduled to take place tonight on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." Well, that reveal will not take place this week, according to a tweet from the NBC offices. Monday is the new night to clear on your TV viewing calendar.

"To all of my gaming peeps: Due to a scheduling conflict, @therealcliffyb's appearance has been moved to Monday," the show's co-producer Gavin Purcell posted on Twitter. "Same awesome dude, new day!"

"Gears of War 3" may not come out before 2011, but Epic Games design director Cliff Bleszinski will be on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" next week to announce a new project, and there's more than one reason to believe the next Gears game will be his topic of conversation. In fact, the title already appears on the upcoming Electronic Gaming Monthly cover, so the timing on a nationwide TV unveiling next Thursday, April 8th would be just a little too perfect.

At 10am on Wednesday morning, the gauntlet was thrown down between the greatest golfer of all time (probably) and the newest Late Night host. Tiger Woods and Jimmy Fallon had a mini 3-hole tourney to determine just who is the greatest Wii golf aficionado, using "PGA Tour 10" as the point of contention.

As it happens, Tiger got crushed by Fallon, needing a hole-in-one on the last hole to have a chance. Tiger was quick to recall that he's had 19 hole-in-ones over his career, but sadly this was not his 20th and he fell to Fallon by a large margin.

On a sidenote, this was the best press event ever, 'cause it took place literally 50 feet outside my building. Note to future PR people...plan every event to take place in the island in the middle of Times Square, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
