No one really doubts that somewhere, sometime, "Grand Theft Auto 5" is coming. The real question fans continue to ask is, "When?" Recent rumors and domain name registrations have suggested that the answer to that question is "Soon," but today brings our most compelling evidence yet, via a voice actor casting call, that "GTA5" will be arriving in the next year or two.

Analysts expecting to see "Grand Theft Auto 5" at E3 this year may have spoken prematurely. In fact, Rockstar Games will reportedly have no "presence" at all at E3 this year, which definitely means no "L.A. Noire" or "Max Payne 3" and probably indicates that any new reveals have been pushed as well.

Take-Two Interactive went on the record last year to say that they don't believe Grand Theft Auto needs to be "an annualized franchise." That purported city clue from the "Episodes from Liberty City" manual may be a red herring after all if recent comments by one of Rockstar's head honchos are to be believed. Though the existence of "Grand Theft Auto 5" as game in the early stages of development should surprise no one, followers of the series will be interested to know that Rockstar is still in the process of picking a city and characters for the next installment.

The folks at Rockstar tend to have a little fun with their fans. Take, for example, the above shot grabbed from the "Episodes From Liberty City" manual. Unfortunately for you, and us, the bit following "Next Stop" has been torn, leaving folks to wonder aloud what this means for the future of the franchise.
