I’ve been looking forward to the live-action big screen adaptation of “G.I. Joe” for a long time. The thing to do back in the lazy days of classrooms and chalkboards was running home after school to drop down in front of the TV for a daily “Joe” fix. The cartoon was an odd sort of beast: the writing was terrible, the plot turns often made no sense and none of the outlandishly dressed characters felt like they should be serving in this, or any other man’s, army.

When you think about GI Joe, you probably don't think about the impactful orchestral score that plays during all the big battles with lasers. Well, you really should! EA has just released an interesting documentary on the creation of the score for "GI Joe: The Game," in which the composers talk about how best to highlight the emotional gravitas of the Joes.
