This fall, you and some friends can dress up as your favorite Disney characters, joining forces for some multiplayer action. Disney Interactive announced today the upcoming release of "Disney Universe" for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, and Mac. The game looks like it could be a lot of fun, but the characters seem a bit – familiar?

Over the course of the last few years, LEGO have infiltrated some of the most beloved film franchises, from "Star Wars" to "Indiana Jones," and have (for the most part) done an amazing job of recreating both memorable characters and scenes in block form. With only a few days to go before "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is released to assuredly welcoming audiences, Disney and TT Games have come together to combine Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew with everyone's favorite building blocks with the release of "LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game"

If "Epic Mickey" got into your head so deep that you find yourself whistling its tunes during non-gaming hours and remembering fondly your times spent painting across Wasteland, you may be interested to know that the Jim Dooley-composed soundtrack that was used for it will soon be available on a standalone disc or over iTunes. An announcement from Disney Interactive Studios today tagged the 20-track collection for December 21, at which point you'll be able to listen to the Emmy winner's new tunes whenever you wish.

When word started to spread that Warren Spector, the mind behind classic games like "Deus Ex" and "Thief," was working on a title starring Mickey Mouse, it was, well, surprising. After all, those games aren't exactly safe for all ages, and Spector is known for creating new and interesting worlds. How would he and his team fare with an established, family-friendly franchise? The answer can be found in the playing of "Disney Epic Mickey," a game which unfortunately fails more often than it succeeds.

Heroes Sora and Riku will return for Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts 3DS," but the series' director Tetsuya Nomura wants to take them into some new Disney-verse places for the title. Asked if the game would retread old paths, he kept quiet about which settings would show up, but he did tease that previously unseen parts of the Kingdom are currently being discussed.

Disney had some Fable-scale aspirations at one point for its action/RPG Jack Sparrow-verse game "Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned." Alas, the game has set sail for Davy Jones's Locker instead of store shelves now, as layoffs over at Propaganda Games have forced the project into cancellation."

"TRON" was a movie that was made famous for taking place within a computer, but anyone that has seen the original movie knows that a good deal of it takes place in the real world as well. In the upcoming "TRON: Evolution" game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, players who are expecting the same kind of real world/virtual world split may end up a little disappointed.
