If you managed to get your hands on the latest "Black Ops" map pack, "Rezurrection," chances are you're a fan of the Zombies mode. After all, the entire pack is just zombies maps, with four returning maps from "World at War" and one brand new map, "Moon." It's "Moon" that you should be most concerned with, as it holds what is more than likely the culmination of the Zombies storyline, at least for now.

"Shangri La" -- Map-Specific Strategies

As usual, unraveling that storyline is really, really complicated. "Moon" features yet another easter egg for you to uncover, and in order to find it (thereby unlocking the "Cryogenic Slumber" and "The Big Bang Theory" achievements), you're going to have to complete a long series of varied objectives scattered throughout the "Moon" map. Frankly speaking, I can't imagine any normal human being discovering these objectives on their own. Thankfully the internet is full of abnormal human beings, like Niik and ThatGamingShow, who are willing to unravel the mystery in video form so you don't have to spend your weekend banging your head against a wall.

As "Modern Warfare 3" nears launch in November, Activision has no interest in letting the franchise cool down before that. To this end, they're releasing yet another map pack, titled Rezurrection [sic], for "Call of Duty: Black Ops," this time focused on zombie levels. As we learned last week, the pack will include four of the zombie maps from "World at War," as well as one brand-new zombie map, "Moon." For those that purchased the Hardened or Prestige Edition of "Black Ops," they'll get this map pack for free. After all, they already had the code to download the "World at War" zombie maps, so really it's just one new map for them. But it's free, so no point in complaining. For everyone else, the pack will run $15.

UPDATE: The official contents of the "Resurrection" map pack (officially called "Rezurrection") are as follows:

• The all new Moon level
• Four re-mastered levels of Zombie lore: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese, the Zombie factory that started it all
• An enhanced Zombies Soundtrack including three tracks never before available for purchase
• A new Zombies Moon theme

If you already had the code from the Hardened or Prestige Edition of "Black Ops," you'll be granted all the contents of the "Rezurrection" map pack for free, including the new Moon map.

The official release date is August 23rd on Xbox Live for 1200 MS points, with other platforms getting it at a later date.

Xbox 360 owners have spent close to a month playing through the latest map pack, Annihilation, while you have been forced to sit on the sidelines, waiting. Well, it appears your wait is almost over. 13 more days of anxious waiting, and 15 bucks, will finally get you back into the action with some brand new "Black Ops" content.

If you've played Zombies in "Call of Duty: Black Ops," you're probably aware that each of the recent Zombie maps has a hidden quest which requires an insane number of secret steps to complete. The latest Zombies map, "Shangri La," is no different, and if you're interested in unlocking the Time Travel Will Tell achievement for a cool 75G, you're going to want to follow a walkthrough to show you all the steps. Seriously, follow a walkthrough. Once you watch the video below, you'll realize that you could never figure this stuff out on your own. Unless you work at Treyarch, that is.

Attention "Call of Duty: Black Ops" fans: Activision and Treyarch aren't done with last year's "Call of Duty" title just yet. As we reported yesterday, pictures of a GameStop poster allegedly showed promotional materials for a third map pack. This morning, Activision officially announced the next "Black Ops" downloadable-content, called "Annihilation."

Just because Activision has started promoting the next installment its uber-popular shooter franchise, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3," doesn't mean that we've seen the last of new content for "Black Ops." In fact, a leaked Gamestop flyer appears to have spoiled the surprise on the next map pack, which is rumored to be titled "Retaliation." Update: Now officially known as "Annihilation."
