Those who plan on owning both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, yet have no idea how they'll fit amongst existing hardware (virtually everything connects via HDMI these days, yet most displays only sport a small handful of ports), were all excited by a revelation made during Microsoft's Tokyo Game Show presentation.

MS stated that the Xbox One's HDMI pass-through would support pretty much any kind of device that sends out a video/audio feed via HDMI. Including the PS4.

When a HD remake of "SoulCalibur 2" was first announced, which to many is the best version of the game, many people got super excited. Until it was revealed that it was for just the PS3 and Xbox 360, and would include just the special guest from the PS2 version, Heihachi from "Tekken".

Even when word came that the original Xbox version's unique fighter, Spawn, would also be included, said disgruntled fans did not change their tune. Why? Because still no Link, from the GameCube edition, which is what everyone liked the most.

Well, as it turns out, there's a slight chance of Link making an appearance after-all. Provided he's included in the Wii U version of the game, but only if that one ends up happening in the first place.

It's a most precious commodity, one that oh so many game characters, from Mario to Kratos, all go ga-ga for. And regardless of whether its rendered in 8bits or via texture mapped polygons, when you see a coin, you had better grab it.

Animator Chris Burns, along with Bob Fox, who both operates Exit 73 Studios, have created an animated short starring Donovan Murdock. He's a guy none too pleased when his Coin is taken from him.

Good thing for us, it's an excuse to kick some butt, and then some.

The PS2 is credited for many things, but one that many have seemed to forgotten (or at least taken for granted) is how it introduced and popularized the idea of having a console be positioned vertically.

It's a cue that many have taken since, including Microsoft, who designed the Xbox 360 to be usable on its side. In fact, it was encouraged. So one might assume that you'd be able to do the same with their next, upcoming console, the Xbox One.

Right? Wrong.
