Telltale Games, the prolific publisher behind such light-hearted adventure fare as Sam & Max: Beyond Space and Time, Tales of Monkey Island, and Back to the Future: The Game is taking a substantially darker turn with their episodic series based on Robert Kirkman's Eisner award-winning comic series, The Walking Dead. The game is based purely on the world of the comic books rather than the TV show and it will be canon to the graphic novels with Kirkman playing an active role in its development. The first episode, "A New Day," will arrive tomorrow on PC, Mac, and PSN.

An anonymous tipster at Kotaku has reported that they took a survey on what appears to be a sequel to Michel Ancel's critically acclaimed platformer, Rayman Origins. The survey was conducted by Arkenford, a marketing firm that regularly collaborates with Rayman publisher, Ubisoft.

Max Payne’s been out of the line of duty for a few years now but he’s making a comeback in a big way this May. The next installment features Max in private service for a high profile client in South America but soon things turn for the worse as his employer’s wife is kidnapped and Max must once again find the truth the hard way.
Rockstar invited me to their offices for a walk through of portion of the single player story for ‘Max Payne 3’. Last week, I got a taste for the hard-boiled action that you knew from the first games. Keep reading for my impressions as I jump in slow-motion and pump a few rounds into some criminal scum.
