The screenshot above may not make much sense to you, but trust me that it's from a game worth playing. "Dyson" is one of the Independent Games Festival finalists I was playing last night in preparation for a judging deadline next week. The game mixes flower pollination with interstellar armada combat, all within a simple interface. It has its flaws, but it's a must-try. And it's free. Offical "Dyson" site here.

Yesterday was just abou a zero game day. I did beat "Watchmen: The End is Nigh" before I went in for work, but I couldn't write about it. It's embargoed until noon, which is when I'll have my review up. I saw someone else play "Batman: Arkham Asylum" but didn't play it myself. Impressions of that coming to the blog shortly. I forgot my copy of "Resistance Retribution" and therefore didn't play it during my commute. All around, it's a lame Diary today. Sorry. Blame Tuesday.
