Disney's The Little Mermaid will making a special, limited engagement return to theaters across the country tomorrow night. No doubt this is aimed at folks who saw the movie on the big screen as a child, back in 1989, and who have since had children of their own.

Kids today often have their faces buried in an iPad, and movies are a great way to have them look up for a tiny bit at least. Though Disney is actively encouraging families to bring said iOS devices to the theater.

One of the hottest things going right now is the recently released PS3 and Vita ports of Spelunky, which is like Tomb Raider, if it was transformed into a 2D rougelike platformer that was both excruciatingly difficult and ultra cute.

And of course some guy on the internet has managed to beat the game in exactly six minutes and fifty two seconds. Not only that, but he was able to access the hidden fifth level, simply known as Hell, and get the game's true ending.

Movies based upon video games have a fairly wretched reputation, and many people place the blame on just one person: Uwe Boll. His cinematic adaptations of House of the Dead, BloodRayne, Alone in the Dark, and Far Cry are all universally reviled, though the one movie that is often cited as being absolute garbage is Postal.

Today might either be the most appropriate or inappropriate day, given that the nation is reflecting upon the events of September 11, 2001. The opening sequence of Postal depicts the hijacking of one of the planes that would be driven into World Trade Center, but in "comedic" fashion.

Well, guess what: Boll wants to do sequel, but it'll only happen if you lend a hand. And you do want to give him your support, don't you?
