Having played through the first two "God of War" games and having enjoyed them immensely, I'm definitely looking forward to the release of "God of War 3." But is my enthusiasm for the franchise enough to propel me to play through the first two games all over again? That's a toughie.
"God of War Collection," which includes enhanced visuals and audio (as well as trophies) for the first two games, is coming out this holiday. Knowing how full the holiday season can be, it seems unlikely that I'll have the time to replay through two games I've already finished, but I was wondering whether you guys felt the same way. Apparently most of you are in for a trip down memory lane with Kratos.

Yesterday's "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" multiplayer trailer was a doozy. I went through and picked out 5 new elements that were revealed in the trailer, but I was curious what you guys were most pumped about. Apparently, two very specific things:

Over the weekend some screens were released to fan sites from the next "GTA" DLC pack, "Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony." The one above shows off a new helicopter, which appears to be loaded up with rockets and machine guns. It also looks a lot smaller and lighter than the Black Hawk-inspired "GTA 4" attack chopper. Which means carnage is a go!
I was wondering what features you've enjoyed in past "GTA" games that you'd like to see in "Gay Tony."

"Halo 3: ODST" is sorta a big deal, and not just in The States! Apparently the French are also big fans of all things Bungie. Their enthusiasm is such that some French retailers have already started selling the game, almost a month before they were supposed to.

Above is a screenshot taken from the song creation screen for the "Rock Band Network." Harmonix is basically placing "Rock Band" song creation in the hands of users, letting them upload and sell their music through the game. I will not be doing this, 'cause the above scares me. But I will be trying out the work that other people upload!
I was curious how alone I am in thinking that the above is the scariest screenshot ever. Are you guys going to roll up your sleeves and get your work seen by the world? Or are you gonna be lazy like me?

"Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao," pictured above, is coming out today and will support 3D glasses of various shapes and creeds. It's not the only game coming out this year that'll support them, either. It sorta makes we wonder whether this is something that'll catch on, or if it's just a Virtual Boy-esque fad. Oh wait, Virtual Boy was never a fad.
Here are the old school games that you'd like to see redone with 3D glasses action:

"Batman: Arkham Asylum" has over 40 unlockable bios for various characters in the Batman universe. Many of these are relatively obscure villains from the series like Ratcatcher and Humpty Dumpty. In the pic above is Condiment King, whose bio is sadly missing from the game, but should certainly appear in a sequel.
Here's your wishlist of obscure Batman villains who you think should've been behind the evil plot of "Arkham Asylum."

Last week's BlizzCon 2009 insanity has basically wrapped up, leaving us with three major things to focus on: "StarCraft 2," "Diablo 3" and "World of WarCraft: Cataclysm." Unfortunately, as is par for the course with Blizzard, we won't be seeing any of those titles this year. And, in the case of "Diablo 3," we probably won't be seeing it next year either.
But lets pretend that someone at Blizzard develops magic powers, letting them finish one game in a day. Which of those titles would you want to play tomorrow?

In today's somewhat delayed Lunchtime Twitter Poll we're taking a look back at classic PC final boss fights. My personal favorite, pictured above and agreed upon by many, featured a battle against Hitler in a mech suit. I guess it wasn't so much the battle as it was the aspect of him melting once you killed him...followed by an instant replay of said melting.
The folks over at GoG.com have been kind enough to offer five codes for downloading free classic PC games on their site, which I will direct message to the following winners. Thanks to everyone one who participated, and keep an eye out on the LTP as we'll continue to do giveaways from time to time.

Yesterday we learned that Bethesda still has another title planned for a 2010 release that's not "Brink," "Fallout: New Vegas" or "Rage." Today I'm asking you...what do you think it'll be?
