If you enjoy rhythm games, this holiday season has no shortage. Between the "Guitar Hero" and "Rock Band" franchises, there are a whopping 7 new games coming out before the end of the year. "Lego Rock Band" is one of them, and it's designed to be the more family-friendly "Rock Band" option. After all, who wants their kids tripping out to Paul McCartney dressed as a creepy walrus?

As we all know, jet packs are a very viable conveyances during wartime. They can, for example, send you up in the air, giving you the permanent high ground! You may not have known that the real life Nazis experimented with the packs during World War 2 by strapping two jets to the back of a hapless pilot. Oh those Nazis, what won't they do? You can learn all about the early jet packs here (complete with super ridiculous pictures that I'm very tempted to steal but won't).

"Bayonetta" is really weird. Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome, and plays like an even more polished "Devil May Cry," but over the course of, say, a minute of playing the game, you probably going to think you took some bad acid. Boss fights against monsters which closely resemble the wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man, for example.

As you probably already know, WBIE, the publisher of "Scribblenauts," is encouraging people to pre-order the game by offering up a free rooster hat if you put money down before launch. The moment I heard this, I wanted one.

Earlier today I wrote a story about how Activision stated in their conference call that there will be two map packs released as DLC for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2". Said Mike Griffith, Activision Publishing CEO, "We plan to launch two separate map packs for this title. Map packs help extend the shelf life of the franchise, as evidence by the strong catalog sales and premium pricing that we maintained a year and a half after launch."

Certainly makes it sounds like two map packs is all they're planning, right? Well apparently Infinity Ward isn't ruling out the possibility of more. Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward's Community Manager, sent an email to MTV Multiplayer with their DLC outlook for the game:

After Activision bought out the original developer of "Scratch," 7 Studios, the game was left in a kind of limbo. That ends today, as a new developer has been revealed for "Scratch." Commotion Interactive is a division of Bedlam Games, and is a development house focused on music and party games.

Trevor Fencott, CEO of Bedlam Games and Commotion, seems pretty enthusiastic about the project:

Tim Burton, known for his freakishly disturbing/awesome movies is well into production on "Alice in Wonderland," a freakishly disturbing/awesome take on Lewis Carroll's classic story.

As with most movies of this type, there will be a game coming out alongside the flick. MTV News had some time to talk to Burton about the movie, and the topic of the game came up.

Neill Blomkamp, former director of the "Halo" movie, is currently promoting "District 9." Despite the 30 million dollar budget, his film looks absolutely kick ass, and it makes you wonder what he would've done with the god-knows-how-much-money the "Halo" movie would've gotten.

MTV Movies Editor, Josh Horowitz, sat down with Blomkamp and spoke briefly about his time working on "Halo." Apparently he had 5 months, start to finish, before the movie got canned. He definitely sounds wistful about it, but admits that it probably resulted in him being able to make "District 9."

Check out the video after the break:
