How big? According to Eurogamer, big enough to require an eight-person writing team which will include lead writer Mac Walters. The untitled DLC is being developed by BioWare's Edmonton studio, and according to one of the company's designers, that number represents pretty much the entire writing team there.

But BioWare's not just throwing a bunch of writers at the next story set (presumably) in and around "Mass Effect 3."

If some online investigation by some NeoGAF users pans out, then Capcom might be continuing their support of the idiosyncratic RPG "Dragon's Dogma."

The DLC, announced via Capcom's Japanese blog would launch on December 4th as a free download for both the PS3 and 360. The new hard mode would open up a new clothing set, "the King's Robe," as well as a pair of new sets of hardware; completing the time attack mode would open up male and female-specific clothing sets so you can dress your speechless hero in glory.

According to a filing with the U.S. Trademark Offices, Bethesda parent company Zenimax has a live filing for something called "Hearthfire," a term which crops up in Elder Scrolls lore as a fall month which is home to the day of Tales and Tallows and a celebration of Necromancy, as G4 helpfully points out.

That sounds analogous to Halloween. Could Bethesda be planning a Day of the Dead-themed DLC pack for Skyrim, thick with zombies and all other sorts of monsters? It would be an interesting direction to go after the vampire and werewolf-focused Dawnguard, but not entirely unexpected.
