In an interview with Rock Paper Shotgun, Obsidian Entertainment CEO Feargus Urquhart says his company's been actively and aggressively lobbying for the opportunity to develop another RPG set in the "Star Wars" universe.
The studio behind "Knights of the Old Republic II," "Fallout: New Vegas," and the upcoming "South Park: The Stick of Truth" would love to get their hands on the license in order to tell a story between the original and prequel trilogies.

The April release from Atlus will include a disc including arranged versions of music from the game's soundtrack by composers oshiko Tasaki, Shoji Meguro, Tsukasa Masuko.
"Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers" is the "lost" PS1-era chapter in the RPG series that never made its way stateside, and is finally getting a release on the 3DS this spring. Available April 16th, the game is set in a utopian city where a group of hackers battles it out with a secret society hiding a terrible secret.

An open world. A ticking clock. An active battle system. "Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII," the second sequel to Square Enix's first outing with pink-haired heroine Lightning seems to be answering for a lot of flack that game and its follow-up, last year's "XIII-2," have received from fans and critics alike.
And according to the game's producer, Yoshinori Kitase, that's sort of been the theme of this current cycle of "Final Fantasy" titles: a game comes out, the fans have "concerns," and Square Enix reacts with a host of changes. But what does that do to a game in the long run--simply making it a checklist against fan demands? Or does "Lightning Returns" have enough of its own vision to get the lapsed "FF" fan excited again?

After a hefty delay, Bethesda has finally dated their three "Skyrim" expansions for the PS3 and PC in early February, ending the timed exclusive period on the Xbox 360. The "Dragonborn" and "Danwguard" expansions will join the "Hearthfire" customization kit on Steam/PSN in February with a steep discount for PSN gamers who grab them early.
