THIS IS PART OF MTV MULTIPLAYER'S 10 MOST ANTICIPATED VIDEO GAMES OF THE FALL! CHECK 'EM ALL OUT HERE.

Prior to Ubisoft's visit to New York City a number of weeks ago, I had seen plenty of "Watch_Dogs." Via the same means that most others have; via YouTube and the like. And the demo I witnessed firsthand shared many similarities with all the rest, not surprisingly; it too was intended to illustrate protagonist Aiden Pearce's hacking acumen.

But there was one subtle, yet very clear cut difference; each one of those highlighted the sexy aspect of Aiden's life. Either lurking the shadows, or bold face inserting himself in the lives of rich and powerful individuals, as well as partaking in some of their spoils. That last part is usually automatic; why not help yourself to what they have, given that they probably won't notice it.

Whereas the demo I saw had Aiden, not at some trendy club in the middle of the night, where the action is, but in broad daylight and in the suburbs, where life is rough and tumble. Where everyday is a struggle just to scrape by, let alone survive.

Brothers-A-Tale-of-Two-Sons-Wallpaper-HD

Between 'Bioshock Infinite' and 'The Last Of Us', the theme of the likely Game of the Year candidates is turning into The Journey of Two. 'Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons' not only re-enforces this, but also presents another dual character trek in a notably different gameplay style, not unlike how Irrational's blockbuster differed from Naughty Dog's.

Whether it was through a limited budget and/or adept skills in fat-trimming, 'Brothers' developer Starbreeze managed to pull off the most concise game of 2013. Yet that doesn't mean that 'Brothers' fantasy world isn't fleshed out. For a game that takes only three to four hours to beat, the two fraternal protagonists transition from their humble village, to troll-inhabited mines, to frigid landscapes with impressive seamlessness.

Metro: Last Light

Remember last week when Deep Silver Dr. Klemens Kundratitz mentioned that the "Metro" series was going to be "more accessible," and then I freaked out, but turns out he just mean that they were bringing "Last Light" to Mac and Linux and would market the games better in the future?

Man, that was embarrassing for me. Let's sweep that under the rug with new details about the newest piece of DLC for "Last Light," the "Tower" pack.

Killer is Dead

Grasshopper Manufacture have a certain reputation to uphold. With games like "Killer 7," "No More Heroes," "Flower, Sun, and Rain," and "Shadows of the Damned" under their belt, they have established themselves as a studio that thinks well outside the box … so far outside the box that it seems like they've got their own box no where near the other box. It's also impossible to talk about Grasshopper without invoking the name of their fearless leader, Goichi Suda, better known as Suda 51, who has been pushing the limits of electronic entertainment for the past two decades. Grasshopper and Suda's latest release, "Killer is Dead," presents yet another twisted tale, told through beautiful graphics, and wild gameplay, falling right in line with many of the games that already bear their names.

Titanfall

Since the "Medal of Honor" series was unceremoniously "taken out of the rotation" earlier this year, Electronic Arts will be relying on the "Titanfall," "Battlefield," and "Star Wars: Battlefront" franchises to go toe-to-toe with Activision's yearly "Call of Duty" games.
