Eidos Montreal's new "Thief" came has been kind of under wraps since erstwhile studio manager Stephane D'Astous peaced out for greener pastures earlier this summer, citing "irreconcilable" differences with publisher Square Enix. The PS4-exclusive "Deep Down" gets stranger and stranger. Capcom first debuted the enigmatic RPG at February's PS4 unveiling, later revealing that the "Dark Souls" competitor was set, in part, in 2094 New York. Now we've learned that "Deep Down" will also be "Free to Play" when it comes to the PS4.

Many eyebrows were raised when Sony introduced Vita TV last week. The idea of device that played Vita games on a TV, much like a console, seemed a bit weird at first.

But add in the fact that one could also play PSP, PSone, plus PSN games (don't forget its ability to support the PS4 via Remote Play), as well as stream media, all for just a $99 price point, and you basically have something that goes head to head against the Ouya and Apple TV (and in many ways outshines them both).

Which is why news that it wasn't coming to America was such a big blow to many. Something that took Sony completely off guard.

Those who plan on owning both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, yet have no idea how they'll fit amongst existing hardware (virtually everything connects via HDMI these days, yet most displays only sport a small handful of ports), were all excited by a revelation made during Microsoft's Tokyo Game Show presentation.

MS stated that the Xbox One's HDMI pass-through would support pretty much any kind of device that sends out a video/audio feed via HDMI. Including the PS4.
