The cream of the videogame crop has been hand-picked to battle for your entertainment in our all-out, no holds barred, slug-fest of the best trailers and videos from this year's E3! 32 characters from the hottest, freshest franchises will be judged by you, the fans, and there can only be one winner. Who gets an extra life and who gets unplugged is up to you!

It's that time of year again--E3 is just around the corner and all of the publishers and developers will be showing off the big new games for 2013, 2014, and beyond. And we want to know which characters from the new and returning franchises have you most excited heading into the new console generation.

The MTV Multiplayer team has scoured the games that are coming soon to PCs, consoles, and handhelds, picking out the illest, most dangerous, or strangest characters that we think you might want to see more of. Now all you have to do is vote for your favorites.

Take a look at the brackets: we've got all manner of assassins, both of the high seas and high style variety (Edward Kenway, "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag," Mondo Zappa, "Killer is Dead"), a monster hunter on what could be his final journey (Geralt, "The Witcher 3"), a pair of wasteland explorers trying to survive a deadly fungus (Joel and Ellie, "The Last of Us,"), and a DC villain with plans to end the Batman once and for all (Black Mask, "Batman: Arkham Origins").

Voting for the first round starts... now. Hit the image at the top of this post (or click right HERE) and decide who's heading to round two.

We don't get a lot of news out of the Indonesian game development scene (heck, it was only last year that I saw my first Indonesian film). Well, here's Bandung-based developer Tinker Game Studio's trailer for their bullet hell shooter, "INheritage: Boundary of Existence," which is based on Indonesian folklore and will be hitting iOS devices and the PC.

It's got bullet, dead school girls, and demigods, so it's at least worth a look.

Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded

To today's average gamer the name "Al Lowe" might not come with a lot of recognition. However, if you ask a fan of point-and-click adventures from the heyday of Sierra Online, Mr. Lowe is one of the most important designers in the history of gaming. The self-proclaimed "world's oldest game designer" is the man that created gaming's most lovable loser, Larry Laffer. The "Leisure Suit Larry" games may have a bit of a racy reputation, but these classic titles are also some of the most beloved titles of all time.

While the series may have taken a bit of a turn after it left Sierra's hands, vintage "Leisure Suit Larry" has been resurrected from the dead. Replay Games have pulled Al out of retirement and given him a chance to update his original games, and bring them to a whole new audience, on a host of different platforms. In the next few weeks Larry Laffer will be return in "Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded," a Kickstarter-funded, HD remake of the original game for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android platforms. To celebrate this momentous occasion we asked Al some burning questions about the franchise, the series' updates, and "Freddy Pharkas," and more. In return, the always-entertaining Mr. Lowe gave us answers about sex ed, "Monkey Island," and his account of what happened in "Leisure Suit Larry 4."

Playing the mobile version of "Street Fighter" was... well, excruciating. In my experience virtual d-pads and buttons just don't work – not for these stubby fingers at least. And considering that mobile devices provide input options unique to the platform, why wouldn't developers focus more on taking advantage of those? "Combo Crew" does. It's a brawler that replaces virtual d-pads and buttons with touch screen controls like swipes and taps. Imagine that, a touch-based fighter that utilizes gesture controls, and does it well.
