Square Enix and DeNa announced today that Final Fantasy Airbone Brigade, a free-to-play social game, is coming to North American Android and iOS devices, though no release date has been set.

This is far from Square’s first foray into mobile gaming – that distinction belongs to Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, an episodic sequel to Final Fantasy IV from 2008 – but it is the company’s first free-to-play offering associated with its trademark franchise.

It's been a quiet 10 months since Studio HIVE first released details about their planned video game followup to Thai action star Tony Jaa's "Ong Bak" martial arts trilogy. And based on these recently released screens (scoped out by film site Twitch), it looks like the story will continue in the Thai historical period, abandoning the modern setting of the first film.

Originally announced as a late 2012 release, publisher Immanitas Entertainment says the 2.5D brawler will be making its way to the PC and mobile devices, but it's unclear which consoles it'll be brutalizing when it's finally done.

Be prepared to justify Lee's decisions. That's the takeaway from "No time Left," the final episode of Telltale Games' "The Walking Dead," which concluded last week on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Mac (the iOS version is incoming). More than any other game this year, "The Walking Dead" has not just been about player choice, but making players own up to those choices made for Lee, a convict-turned-caretaker for Clementine, a lost and scared little girl in the middle of a zombie outbreak. Throughout this season, players (as Lee) have had to make decisions that would guarantee to (or at least prolong) his and Clementine's survival in the face of other travelers, bandits, cannibals, and of course, the flesh-eating dead.

Which leads to the other takeaway from this final, poignant, heartbreaking episode: "Clementine will remember this."
