Editor's Note: After a night of restless sleep, I was visited by the three Spirits of America -- Teddy Roosevelt, Mark Twain, and Bo Jackson. They asked why I had forgotten so many other great American video game heroes and demanded I expand the list. Never one to want to disappoint, I have revised this article to reflect the wishes of Bo and his pals.

America's birthday is tomorrow and what better way to celebrate than by counting off a few of the most iconic All-American video game characters. What's that you say? You'd rather be kicking back a few colds ones with some friends while watching fireworks? Fine -- but you'll never know who's the best American video game hero.

It's not surprise that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is finally a real thing. The long awaited numbered sequel to Disney and Square Enix's saccharine storied, melodramatic fated mash up is just on the horizon (the very, very distant horizon). I can't even fathom the number of teary eyed fans that can't wait to hear the next remix of Simple and Clean while wondering what new fan service-y characters will appear in KH3.

Furthermore, now that Disney has effectively so-opted our childhood with Marvel and the recent acquisition of Star Wars we thought it was finally time to speculate like crazy about who should make a cameo in this beloved series.

Here's out Top 10 Characters That Should Appear in "Kingdom Hearts 3"

Kiala again! From the XBox livestream! I have feelings to share with you about stuff I disliked. Enjoy.

Ahhhh the livestream. It always feels like attending a Tony Robbins motivational seminar - or a school assembly. I generally spend the entire thing hoping someone will trip or swear or say something blatantly offensive because I am a 12 year old at heart forever. And yet, this XBox event was (unfortunately for me) relatively smooth and nary an awkward moment to be found. I did manage to find fault with some stuff because criticizing amazing leaps in technology which I have no talent for is fun!
