Though Valve typically offers downloadable content for their PC releases at no cost to gamers, that's not the norm in the console world, leading to speculation the just revealed "Survival Pack" would cost Xbox 360 gamers, but Valve just announced the opposite -- the content will be free on both platforms this spring.
