Kiala again! From the XBox livestream! I have feelings to share with you about stuff I disliked. Enjoy.

Ahhhh the livestream. It always feels like attending a Tony Robbins motivational seminar - or a school assembly. I generally spend the entire thing hoping someone will trip or swear or say something blatantly offensive because I am a 12 year old at heart forever. And yet, this XBox event was (unfortunately for me) relatively smooth and nary an awkward moment to be found. I did manage to find fault with some stuff because criticizing amazing leaps in technology which I have no talent for is fun!

Find Out Who Or What The 'Lamb of Columbia' Is With New 'Bioshock' Trailer

Hot on the heels of the second episode of “BioShock Infinite”’s mockumentary, “Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus?” comes a more traditional trailer detailing some of the events that set the game in motion: grizzled protagonist Booker DeWitt is sent to fetch Elizabeth, some kind of mystical time-jumper, from the floating city of Columbia in order to clear his earthbound debts.

Irrational Games have released Part 2 of their “BioShock Infinite” documentary, “Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus?” This one is about the Songbird, the dual-purposed, leather-bound monster that simultaneously keeps invaders out of the flying city of Columbia while keeping its most dangerous resident -- the time-hopping, dimension-shredding Elizabeth -- in.

Visit The City in the Sky With a New ‘BioShock Infinite’ Trailer

There were lots of reasons to like the original “BioShock.” It was moody and atmospheric, Rapture was stocked by a great cast of eccentrics, and you could shoot bees out of your fingertips. My preferred methods of destruction, though, was to trigger the invisibility plasmid and use the crossbow to snipe at splicers from long range. Using my telekinesis powers to grab dead bodies as meatshields was also a common tactic for me.

If all else failed, I also enjoyed the shotgun.

Imagine my disappointment, then, that none of those things are in today’s new “BioShock Infinite” trailer! I mean, getting a feel for the story and seeing the protagonist fire rockets at enemies is cool and all, but I need to know that Elizabeth and I will be allowed to crossbow our way through Columbia.

Rock The Vote: Polls For 'BioShock Infinite's' Reversible Cover Now Open

In light of the recent kerfluffle about "BioShock Infinite's" box art, Irrational Games boss Ken Levine promised fans that alternate covers would be available for download. Yesterday, though, Irrational upped the ante by promising that the box art will be reversible.

Irrational is now polling fans to determine what the alternate cover will look like, thanks to a nifty little poll on their website. Voting is now open, and a red, book-cover design is currently leading the way. My favorite, though, is still the last one, based on the Game Informer cover that announced the game in 2010.
