According to Time Warner CFO John K. Martin, the next entry in the "Arkham Asylum" franchise is due sometime this year. VG24/7 picked up on this detail from Warner Brothers' earnings call from last week, where Martin touted the sequel as one of the ways Warner Brothers (via WB Interactive) would be lining the coffers in 2013.

The big question is, would this be the previously-announced Silver Age sequel?

Poison Ivy

By Rick Marshall

We've been raving about "Batman: Arkham Asylum" here on Multiplayer and Splash Page (MTV's comic book and movie blog) for a while now, so we can probably dispense with the normal "Oohs" and "ahhs" that accompany every new glimpse we get of the game. I got my hands on an early Xbox 360 version of this summer's "Batman: Arkham Asylum" video game yesterday and wound up thinking about the influence of the great "Bioshock." Read More...

We're debuting this new trailer for "Batman: Arkham Asylum" on-air tonight, but thought you might like to see the full thing here too. This is the newest trailer for this summer's Dark Knight PS3/XBox360/PC adventure. This trailer focuses on Batman's so-called Invisible Predator stealth combat techniques. Solid Snake and Sam Fisher could never do things like this!

(Apologies for the audio being a little fuzzy today. Not sure why that happened. Videos not viewable by users logging in from Canada or the U.K.)
