If you’ve got $15 burning holes in your presumably deep pockets, Gearbox has some new “Borderlands 2” customization options to sell you. Fifteen packs of new skins and heads -- three for each character -- are now available to any and all fashionable Vault Hunters.

Each pack will include one skin and one head for one character and cost $0.99. There are three “themes” available: Domination, Madness, and Supremacy. That header image, for example, contains the Madness set.

Let me guess -- you hit level fifty about halfway through your second playthrough of “Borderlands 2,” and you’re feeling the slightest bit crabby that, three DLCs later, your Gunzerker hasn’t gained any experience or new skills since about November.

Never fear! According to an Official PlayStation Magazine interview with Gearbox producer James Lopez, a level cap increase is coming sometime before the end of March. “We do have one planned, and it will be for quite a few levels, which will allow you to play for quite a bit longer,” Lopez said. “We also have a plan for Q1.”

Lopez went on to explain that the new SHiFT system, implemented as a way for Gearbox to distribute special items and customization skins to “Borderlands 2” players is providing the studio with enough statistics to really nail down the timing.
