Ever have trouble remembering if you played a game? I thought I had never played the classic “Out Of This World,” but now that I’m looking at the first two minutes of it in this latest installment of our 120 Seconds feature … I think maybe I did play it! Can I have possibly played so many games that I can’t remember them all?

“Wii Sports” might have ignited the mini-games craze on Wii, but Take-Two’s surprise hit “Carnival Games” showed that third-parties could succeed there, too. While Take-Two works on the inevitable “Carnival Games” sequel, Majesco Entertainment has picked up the baton with “Wonder World Amusement Park,” featuring 30 mini-games. Discover whether it’s the right virtual field trip for you by checking out the first “120 Seconds” of “Wonder World Amusement Park.”

Animation fans have had a lot of ground to cover this summer. “Kung Fu Panda” and “Wall-E” have already dominated the box office and 20th Century Fox is trying to cash in with “Space Chimps,” as well. Haven’t heard of it? Well, neither have we, but Andy Sandberg’s voice is in it — that’s a start.
As for the game based on “Space Chimps”? You can get a glimpse at what it’s all about by watching the first 120 Seconds of gameplay right here.

PlayStation 3 and PC owners have been enjoying Epic Games‘ arcade shooter “Unreal Tournament III” since last December, but Xbox 360 gamers can join the fun this week. “Unreal Tournament III” comes sans user-generated content on Microsoft’s platform, but Epic Games has said it’s looking into providing that content as DLC. Xbox 360 owners, are you pumped? Know for sure by checking the first 120 seconds of “Unreal Tournament III.”

In the past, Camelot have made the only golf games that I have ever actually enjoyed, and this week they released their first golf game for the Wii, “We Love Golf!” They’ve made use of the motion controls, and, while not perfect, this is definitely not a game you can play while sitting on the couch. Can it stand up to “Mario Golf“? Watch the first ‘120 Seconds‘ of the game and you be the judge.

By this point in E3 week it begins to become very clear what rumors from last week actually came to fruition, and, alas, it’s all too clear that a new “Punch-Out!!” game is nowhere in Nintendo’s near future. It is because of this that we take a look back at, what is the crowning achievement in the series, “Super Punch-Out!!” in today’s retro ‘120 Seconds.’ Some may argue that “Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!” is the undisputed heavyweight of the franchise, but the SNES version holds the belt (at least in my mind) simply because it was just more fun, which can be seen as I take down Gabby Jay in the first two playable minutes of the game.

You might not want to write off “Major League Eating: The Game” too quickly. Sure, it’s a game based entirely on eating, but it is actually surprisingly fun to virtually scarf down quantities of food so large that the average human body would most likely not be able to digest. In the first ‘120 Seconds‘ of the game “Krazy Legs” Conti goes up against Sonya Thomas eating meatballs. As fun as the video is to watch, the one thing that really doesn’t come across at all in this video is the awesome sounds that the controller makes as you deploy you attacks. It takes the ESRB’s rating of “crude humor” to a new level. Bon appétit.

When Sid Meier speaks, people listen. His latest take on the “Civilization” franchise puts a much more user friendly spin on what is usually a fairly complex series of games. With simple controls, and helpful advisors “Civilization Revolution” make it easy to jump into a game and take over the world. Watch the first ‘120 Seconds‘ of “Civilization Revolution” and see if it’s about time you to rule the world… virtually of course.

Who says that the adventures should get to have all the fun? Maybe their chocobos want to get in on the action. Check out the first ‘120 Seconds‘ of the new Wii title ”Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon” as everyone’s favorite bird from the Final Fantasy series gets to take to the dungeons on its own.

Training is a vital part of any game. You need to know what you’re doing in order to play the game, or what’s the point? Today’s ‘120 Seconds‘ show the first two minutes of “Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath“’s tutorial. While it might not be the most exciting two minutes of gameplay ever showcased, it gives you a good idea of what to expect throughout the rest of the game. After all, how many games really have memorable tutorial levels?

Of all the first party publishers, Nintendo is holding their cards closest to their chest in regards to what they have planned for next week’s E3. Their secrecy has lead to a lot of rumors and conjectures across the internet of what they are planning on showing.
Their secrecy, mixed with a bit of potential, has lead to today’s retro ‘120 Seconds.’ I have a hope that my one prediction of what Nintendo may be unveiling will be dead on - the follow up to one of the most successful DS games to date. Hopefully, by this time next week the only thing that Nintendo fanboys will be able to talk about is “New Super Mario Bros. 2.”
In hopes that “NSMB2″ is one of the big announcements of next week, we are taking a look back at the first two minutes of Mario’s first two portable adventures “Super Mario Land,” and “Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.” Enjoy these classics courtesy of my Super Gameboy (and please excuse the colors).
“Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins” is after the jump.

This week’s addition to the WiiWare catalog is the title “SPOGS Racing” from D2C Games. You operate a Sports Player Object Gyro (S.P.O.G.) as you race against your competitors around the track. As this week’s only WiiWare release, it has to carry the entire burden of Nintendo’s download service, solely on it’s back. Check out the first ‘120 Seconds‘ of gameplay, and see how well it handles that responsibility.
