A summer blockbuster based around giant robots beating the crap out of unearthly kaiju would be a natural fit for a big budget video game tie-in, right? If the Australian rating submission for the XBLA/PSN "Pacific Rim: The Video Game" that VG247 came across is to be believed, then we just might be getting a more modest take on Guillermo del Toro's next big feature.

One feature of Dontnod's upcoming action title "Remember Me" that's not often discussed is the way the game's music is heavily influenced by the fractured state of courier heroine Nilin's memories.
To create this dynamic score, Dontnod enlisted veteran composer Olivier Derivere ("Alone in the Dark," "Of Orcs and Men"), who describes his score as "a reconstruction around Nilin’s memory." We spoke with Derivere recently about his work on "Remember Me," composing for action, and making the organic digital. Plus, enjoy samples of his upcoming soundtrack.

So now we've got a closer look at the three leads in September's "GTA V," courtesy of three new trailers showing each character's motivations (or in tweaked-out Trevor's case, chaotic response) to Rockstar's latest crime saga.
Looking at Michael, Franklin, and Trevor's trailers, I had a couple of thoughts about the direction of "Grand Theft Auto V" (which I should hasten to add I have no played a single minute of) and the legacy of the franchise in general.
