'Epic Mickey' Soundtrack Arriving In Stores December 21

If "Epic Mickey" got into your head so deep that you find yourself whistling its tunes during non-gaming hours and remembering fondly your times spent painting across Wasteland, you may be interested to know that the Jim Dooley-composed soundtrack that was used for it will soon be available on a standalone disc or over iTunes. An announcement from Disney Interactive Studios today tagged the 20-track collection for December 21, at which point you'll be able to listen to the Emmy winner's new tunes whenever you wish.

"Dynasty Warriors 7" is all about integrating the latest trends in gaming. First, Tecmo Koei revealed that they'd be releasing the new sequel in 3-D next March when it lands in Japan. Now, that multi-dimensional leap looks like it will be joined a variety of multiplayer mode options, including the first use of online co-op in the core series.

Long before Captain Lou Albano did "The Mario," Columbia Records put out a recording by a duo called Buckner & Garcia titled "Do the Donkey Kong." The pair also put out a track called "Pac-Man Fever" that broke into the top ten on Billboard's Hot 100 rankings in 1982. Now, almost 30 years later they're returning to the spotlight, thanks to a lot of paperwork and the Rock Band Network.

TurboGrafx-16 Gamebox Bringing Emulation To iPhones

The TurboGrafx-16 may not hold the same cult status that Sega's Dreamcast does, but its game library started sending over titles early on for the Wii's Virtual Console store, and it's still hanging around. Now, the deceased game system is going to try cracking open a new market for the iPhone and other Apple devices. The app itself will be free, and it will come with a complimentary copy of "World Sports Competition," but extra games are going to cost you.

'Smurfs Village' Laborers Threaten To Strike Thanks To Clock Cheat

Smurf farming got a lot easier for iPad and iPhone users who discovered how to use a glitch in the game's dependence on local time settings to power level their operations in "Smurfs' Village." Developer and thatgamecompany co-founder and creative director Jenova Chen attracted attention last week after he exploited that quirk and did an interview with Kotaku about his motivations. Those of us who got curious about the unsavory strategy and applied it our own farms were greeted to a disapproving message from Papa Smurf over the weekend, however, and according to The Bearded One, Smurfs noticing your clock manipulation after a recent update may choose to abandon your fields.

The holiday season is supposed to be a time for giving and doing nice things for others, and that's exactly what Wolfire Games set out to accomplish the first time they assembled a Humble Indie Bundle. The game roster consists of "Braid," "Cortex Command," "Machinarium," "Osmos" and "Revenge of the Titans" this time around, and the same decide-what-you-pay system of sliding bars will determine both how much money you pay and how much goes to the developers, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Child's Play.

Dreamcast Collection Acknowledged By Sega

The $29.99 Dreamcast collection listed for a February 14 release date by GameStop in November wasn't just a figment of the retailer's imagination. Though the price, release date and games included in the bundle haven't been made official yet, Sega has confirmed that they do have such a product in the works.

'Minecraft' Makers Upping Game's Status To Beta With Price Bump

"Minecraft" became an international indie game darling this year, and if you got in on it during its alpha phase, you may have been offered a sweet deal wherein all future versions of the title would be made available to you for free. Mojang Specification is still just getting started, though, and the company's founder Markus Persson intends to move things along to the next level before the end of the year by taking "Minecraft" into beta on December 20.

'Uncharted 3' Gameplay Debuts On Jimmy Fallon

The world got a look at some desert landscapes and quick in-game clips from "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception" over the weekend, but only Jimmy Fallon got the privilege of actually picking up a controller. The Naughty Dog crew brought a burning château level onto his show, and though Fallon didn't seem to be very nimble with the controls despite his familiarity with "Uncharted 2," he did give it a go and fall through a collapsing wooden floor while cracking the kind of jokes you will only hear on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."
