Mad Catz wants to claw its way into your gamespace again, this time bringing with it a pro controller, new fight sticks, and a mouse that will make MMO players drool.
First up is the MLG Pro Circuit Controller, with "tournament grade components" that let you customize the entire look and feel of the controller. You can change the side, the thumbsticks, the d-pad and more, giving you a custom look and feel to what you bring to the game. Available for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360, it comes in a custom carrying case that also holds the additional parts. It's like bringing your own customized pool cue to the tournament and intimidating everyone. That is, if you play pool.
“The MLG Pro Circuit Controller with its tournament grade components and ProModule system has been very well received by the pro gaming community.” said Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. “We anticipate the MLG Pro Circuit Controller will be the weapon of choice for the most demanding gamer and professional player.”

Mass Effect 3 features both the end of a trilogy, and "the end of a galaxy at war" according to Bioware. It won't be the closing chapter in the entire Mass Effect franchise, but it is the end of an era, and while we're unsure if it will close the book on Commander Shepard, it will be the end of the story as we know it so far. With each game, Bioware has upped the ante by including new gameplay mechanics for players, but when Mass Effect 3 comes out on the Xbox 360, the Kinect voice control really changes how you play.

This synchronized Christmas light show is like yuletide downloadable content for your house. Skyrim’s booming main theme might not convey the most conventional Christmas spirit, but it certainly reminds your neighbors just how much time you commit to your nerd hobbies.
Just tell the kids you were too busy saving the world from dragons to get them gifts this year. They’ll understand.

If Bethesda ever finishes patching up all of the glitches in Skyrim, it might want to hire animator Harry Partridge to officially give the game a Saturday-morning-ready makeover.
Featuring an annoying ginger kid and a synth-tastic theme song only slightly less epic than Skyrim’s actual score, “The Elder Scrolls Adventures with the Dovahkids” is a tantalizing taste of what could have been if Skyrim had hit in the days of the Commodore 64 instead of the age of the X-Box 360.
Hey, at least floating mammoths might make more sense in a cartoon, eh?

Have you been itching to get your hands on Rock Band? Well if you can't wait until the game comes out later this year, the rock gods have answered your prayers: Rock Band will be coming to YOU on a coast-to-coast U.S. tour.
The 24-city trek will kick off during the weekend of the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sept. 9th. Big rig trucks equipped for rockin' (like in the picture) will travel from city to city to give music fans and gamers the full Rock Band experience: amateurs and experts alike will get the chance to play on a full stage with lights and sound systems.
If you think you're destined for Rock Band stardom, you're in luck; you can test your skills and participate in the nationwide casting call at MTV's Rock Band "Rock Off" events. Any rockers without stage fright who play on the Rock Band tour bus stage will be captured on tape for consideration by MTV casting directors. Two bands will get picked and flown to NYC to spend face-time with a real rock band for official rocker training. Then they'll play on MTV’s TRL, and the winning outfit will get to open for a surprise super group at the Rock Band launch concert.
Make the jump to learn where YOU can become the next superstar with Rock Band.

Recently MTV News’ own Sway got to take a tour of RPG game creator Richard Garriott’s home – cribs style. The twist is, Richard Garriott isn’t your normal cribs host. With human bone knives, secret doors, hidden staircases, human remains, he is definitely in a whole different category of homeowner.
