The upcoming prequel, "Batman: Arkham Origins," gets its own prequel with DLC featuring a young Bruce Wayne before he donned the mask and cape. Oh yeah, and you can dress Batman up in a bunch of new costumes as well in the main story.
This morning's press release revealed the two skins and pair of skin packs that would be included in the $19.99 season pass, which includes costumes based on the "Brightest Day" crossover as well as the "Gotham by Gaslamp" Elseworlds story. The pass will also include the New Millennium and Infinite Earths Skin Packs along with the story mission "Batman: Arkham Origins Inition," which introduces Bruce Wayne's mentor, Kirigi.
Kirigi (introduced in "Batman" #431) is one of the martial arts masters who trained young Bruce Wayne in the way of hitting people until they can't get up anymore. The "Initiation" DLC will see Bruce having to "face his final test to prove himself worthy to his greatest teacher."
The release also teases an additional story mission, but whether this takes place before or after the events of "Arkham Origins" remains to be seen.
"Batman: Arkham Origins" will be available October 25th for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U with the companion game, "Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate" coming out the same day for the Vita and the 3DS.
