Over the weekend, Quantic Dream's "Beyond: Two Souls" had its big coming out party to non-gaming types during New York's Tribeca Film Festival. There, Quantic Dream CEO David Cage was able to discuss some of the storytelling ambitions for the October release, while also unveiling 35 minutes of gameplay. Oh, and stars Ellen Page and Kadeem Hardison were there to answer audience questions. The new trailer, meanwhile, reveals some of the content that I had a chance to check out during my preview earlier this year.
After the jump, check out the livestream from the event and get your first, relatively spoiler-free look at "Beyond: Two Souls."
"Beyond" was an official selection of this year's TFF which has, of late, tried to embrace interactive entertainment along with traditional narrative content. Thanks to its star wattage and then-innovative motion capture technique, Rockstar's "L.A. Noire" was a previous selection of the festival that garnered a lot of attention at the time.
