Regardless of Sony not showing off the actual console hardware at February's PlayStation 4 announcement we were pretty excited to at least see the new DualShock 4, and further details on the updated gamepad have been steadily rolling out ever since. Now, Sony has gotten a group of developers together for another in-depth look at the controller. Watch the video above!
The video doesn't really teach a whole lot about the controller that we didn't already know, but it is nice to hear about the new features from the side of developers actually working on games for Sony's next generation console.
Still, one of the most interesting features to me is the share button. I myself have never really gotten into sharing gameplay videos online, but with the option so accessible on PlayStation 4 I'm sure more and more players will be taking advantage of it.
As strange as it may sound, another feature I'm really looking forward to is the light bar. As someone who plays a lot of local co-op and multiplayer, the ability of the PS4 to follow the DualShock 4's lightbar to position split-screens in accordance with where players are situated in front of the TV is sounding pretty promising. Sometimes it's the little things that can make a big difference.
What are your thoughts on the Sony's DualShock 4 so far?
