The pixel art survival horror game "Lone Survivor" from Superflat Games is the latest indie darling to get announced for PSN, and it's on the way in July.
"Lone Survivor" is set in a plague-ridden city where "our nameless, masked protagonist, holed-up in a city full of diseased monsters, starving and exhausted." It's a mind-trip into the desperate days of survival for an unreliable and mentally frayed protagonist (if not hero).
In a post over on the PlayStation Blog, "Lone Survivor" creator Jasper Byrne revealed that the game would be coming to both Sony platforms this summer with new content, courtesy of Curve, who's porting the game. Besides Trophy support and Cross-Buy/Cross-Play functionality, the port will include more dialog options with NPCs, "two extensive new side quests and a brand new ‘Yellow’ ending, featuring an exclusive piece of music." All this, and they're trying to figure out some touch controls for the game.
