HappyGiant and Dark Horse Comics today announced "Usagi Yojimbo: Way of The Ronin" for iPhone and iPad. The game, which is "coming soon" to Android devices and PC, is now available for iOS.
Usagi Yojimbo was created by award winning author and illustrator Stan Sakai, the fearless rabbit ronin has been known to show up with the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" from time to time. The story follows him on his journey through feudal Japan. "Usagi Yojimbo: Way of The Ronin" is the first videogame based on the property in over 25 years.
"It’s been far too long since the last Usagi game, and I am so excited to be working with HappyGiant to bring Usagi and his friends back to these new platforms," said Stan Sakai, "The game turned out great!"

In conjunction with the mobile game's release, Dark Horse has announced the first new Usagi Yojimbo collection after a year-long break. The first book will be “Usagi Yojimbo: A Town Called Hell,” which will be released July 17th.
