Apparently, when custom statue maker Vince-Vell (aka John A. Ficchi), sees the fight-ravaged face of brawler Ken in "Street Fighter 3 Third Strike," he doesn't just see a mass of bumps, bruises, and pain--he sees art.
In a video (found this morning by Event Hubs), see this sculptor's process as he brings poor, battered Ken's noggin to life.
In the nearly 15-minnute video, Ficchi walks through the process of painting Ken's head and some of the particulars of getting that busted-up look just right. He knows what he's talking about: he's been making custom figures for a while now, creating figures up until now based on characters from the Marvel Universe, now making a foray into gaming figures. You can check out more of his work on Ficchi's YouTube channel.
Here is a funny project that i can't stop laughing over. I customized a Pop Culture Street fighter Ken head into a beat up loser screen version from 3rd Strike. Don't ask me why i did it, but man its so damn funny.
So hope you enjoy the video on this custom and hope it brings some laughs.
