"LEGO City Undercover" may be delivering an open-world experience in plastic brick form later this year, but what if Rockstar's upcoming "Grand Theft Auto V" was set in the LEGO world? An entry in the Machinima Interactive Film Festival imagines just that, re-creating the recent "Grand Theft Auto V" trailer, LEGO-style.
Pretty impressive, isn't it? The amount of time it takes to create stop-motion animation like this is itself quite an accomplishment, but the fact that the creators were able to stay so true to the original trailer is really what makes this video so awesome.
"Grand Theft Auto V" is slated to hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Spring 2013. Unfortunately, Rockstar has yet to confirm whether or not the game will be making its way to PC. If you want to put some pressure on the developer you could sign this petition. Just remember that PC versions of GTA have always come after the console release. Even though Rockstar hasn't mentioned it, it's possible PC version is already in the works.
