If you dug all of the connected points and upgrade systems in Resident Evil 5, you might be interested in what Capcom is doing with RE.net, their online service that will be launching alongside Resident Evil 6. Basically, it's like a connected stat-tracking system for the next game that will occasionally award you points that you can redeem for in-game gear for the "Mercenaries" mode while keeping up to date on how many zombies your friends have killed.
