While the Ninja Gaiden creator's latest action game is still without a publisher, developer Valhalla Game Studios announces that they're partnering with Korean firm Doobic Games to bring Devil's Third to PCs and tablets.
According to a GameSpot report, Valhalla and Doobic have formed a joint company, Valhalla&Doobic Co., Ltd, expressly to develop Devil's Third for PCs and tablets. This is in addition to the planned console release for the character action game that was first announced back in 2010.
Valhalla has mostly gone dark with any new announcements about the game, and the most recent news came back in June that then-publisher THQ was offloading the IP back to the developer following massive losses for the larger company. By all accounts, the parting was amicable if regrettable.
Itagaki and the Valhalla team have been working on Devil's Third since around 2009 after the Ninja Gaiden creator's very acrimonious split with Tecmo and the poor reception to the buggy, unpolished Ninja Gaiden II.
