4A Games and THQ's sequel to Metro 2033 gets an extended chunk of gameplay as our heroes attempt to navigate the wastes of a blighted Moscow.
Man, is this slice of Metro: Last Light grim. Following hero Artyom and his new ally Pavel as they work their way over the surface and underneath post-apocalyptic Moscow is an extended bout of misery. Not in a bad way, mind, but 4A Games isn't afraid to grim up in their vision of a ruined version of their homeland.
It's, of course, not all sad reminiscences and dead bodies--the gameplay demo also has an extended look at the game's combat and some of the weapons you'll be using to engage in said combat, which looks to be very up close and personal.
Metro: Last Light still doesn't have a release date, but we might be looking for it near the end of this year for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
