Activision has a ton of stuff to show off this week at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con International and, as always, were on the floor to bring all the latest details regarding you favorite titles. First, we got some juicy details on Transformers: Fall of Cybertron multiplayer and may there may be a few more Dinobots than we were expecting.
That's right folks, Dinobots and Insecticons will be playable in High Moon Studios' upcoming robo-beat'em up, but there's an unfortunate catch. The terrible lizard 'bots and their six-legged frenemies won't be available at the game's initial launch. Instead we'll have to wait for some DLC to hit our virtual marketplace of choice and there's no word on when exactly that will happen.
The good news is Transformers fans will finally have the chance to build their very own robot-in-disguise for co-op and competitive multiplayer matches. Heads, guns, bodies, legs and more can all be switched out in a full customization suite for online battles! You'll also be able to tweak the colors to your liking and, yes, it looks like Dinobot and Insecticon parts from the add-on will be available here as well.
To wrap things up, High Moon also announced that Fall of Cybertron multiplayer will be equipped with host migration functionality, meaning your online matches will no longer end the moment the host drops out.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will launch on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC August 21st.
