007 heads to space in this latest reveal from the upcoming FPS celebration of the Bond franchise.
Today, Activision revealed Moonraker as one of the six Bond films getting a nod in October's 007 Legends. With its laser-wielding moon base, megalomaniaclal villain, and an actual character that someone wrote and put into a movie named "Dr. Goodhead," the 1979 Roger Moore-starring Bond movie was the series at maybe its most goofily excessive—pretty much the one-to-one reference point for the Austin Powers films (along with Casino Royale, but we're talking games, here).
From Activision's synopsis of the Moonraker mission:
Transporting aspiring secret agents to the well-known space port of billionaire industrialist, Hugo Drax, fans must rely on stealth and determine if they'll trust and align with questionable allies to infiltrate the orbiting evil lair and defeat one of the most iconic Bond henchmen - Jaws. The goal? Foil the enemy and destroy Drax's plans to poison the world.
007 Legends promises an overarching storyline that will tie together the six films weaving their way through the game. Skyfall, the third Daniel Craig film out this November, is another entry in the game, leaving four more classics to fill out the roster.

007 Legends will be available on October 16th for the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360.
