Word is coming down from Siliconera that the series reboot is getting a DS platformer this summer.
While the fate of a second season of the ThunderCats reboot remains in question, the update to the beloved 80's animated series is making a jump to handheld gaming with the release of ThunderCats from Aspect Digital.
Apparently, this will be a straightforward platformer featuring Lion-O and an assortment of the other 'Cats, and likely the usual suspects when it comes to enemies from the series. Aspect Digital is a Japanese dev responsible for various ports and licensed games over the years all the way back to the Game Gear days.
