Toymaker Hasbro and Activision are teaming up to make a new game based on the Hub TV series Transformers exclusive to Nintendo platforms. More information and a trailer after the jump.
Transformers Prime is the current animated incarnation of the storied series of transforming toys which is currently in its second season. A semi reboot of the franchise, it features what seem to be the last of the Autobots, led by Optimus, on Earth and living in secret in the wake of the destruction of their home planet as the Decepticons plan their next move. Developer Nowpro is putting the game together while High Moon Studios works on Fall of Cybertron.
Transformers Prime: The Game appears to just be coming to the DS and 3DS.

TRANSFORMERS PRIME will hit stores later this year and is being developed exclusively for Nintendo's Wii™ system and the Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system by Now Production (NowPro), and for the Nintendo DS™ hand-held system by Altron Corporation. The game has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
