Over the years, there have been countless Star Wars games that have given you the opportunity to play as different kinds of characters throughout the universe. Most recently, The Force Unleashed II put you in the role of a Sith apprentice that's gone rogue, and The Old Republic let you play as just about anyone, but other titles, going all the way back to 1983's Star Wars arcade game, have all let you virtually experience everyone from Vader to Yoda. However, when Kinect Star Wars is released on April 3 it will be the first time that gamers will actually get to become a Jedi. While that may sound like a promise you've heard in the past, this Kinect release will be the first time that you will get to wield a light saber with your own hands, or perform a force push by actually performing a force push, you'll even be able to steer a pod racer like you're actually driving it. It's bound to be a huge technological leap into pop culture's most beloved franchise.
If you're wondering where Kinect Star Wars is going to take you, then let the development team explain in the game's latest trailer. Get a look at all of the different modes, including the Jedi Destiny adventure, the Rancor destruction of Mos Eisley, and the Emperor breaking it down on the dance floor. There's a little something for everyone in Kinect Star Wars, whether you're a long-time fan, or you don’t know the difference between a Padawan and an Ewok. It seems like it's the first all-encompassing Star Wars game, so much so that it even includes Jedi training with Master Yoda.
