If you're one of the many Call of Duty Elite members who have been waiting to get in on some clan oriented action today's your day -- Clan Operations are now officially live. On top of that, the new Overwatch map we've been waiting for is also available for premium Elite members to download.
Clan Operations let you and your Elite clan members enlist in a variety of operations and compete for actual, real-world prizes. The challenge on the board this week is King of the Hill – a free-for-all match in which the player with the most kills will take home a special badge to show off their skills and... wait for it... an iPad 2! Not a bad way to start things off, is it? If the prize has reignited your interest in joining Call of Duty Elite you can head over to the website and enlist.
Next up is the Overwatch map we've been hearing about for the past few weeks. It puts players on top skyscraper to battle it out and blow each other to smithereens, but there's a catch. The edges of the rooftop battleground don't have any guard rails, so if you're not careful you could instantly plummet to your death. Like all of the other maps that have been released Overwatch is available for free if you're a premium Elite member, so power up that Xbox and add it to your queue.
