ComiXology is running a big sale on game-related comics through Thursday night. After the jump, get more details on the sale and some recommendations for what you might want to download before the big sale ends.
This week only, ComiXology is discounting a bunch of single issue and trade volumes of their game related comics including tie-ins for Gears, Halo and Modern Warfare, along with a slew of titles based on classic games (Sonic the Hedgehog) or related to retro-gaming (Scott Pilgrim on the cheap at $3.99 a volume). Really, the pricing offers a nice opportunity to pick and mix some titles that you might have been interested in, but didn't want to drop the $3-$4 on in a store or online (and for some of us an easy way to justify spending another ten bucks on comics).
Of the offerings ComiXology has listed, I'd say at least grab one of the Scott Pilgrim volumes and see if they whet your appetite for more in the future, the Archie Comics Sonic stuff is usually good fun (and great for younger readers), and IDW's Silent Hill titles might be worth a look for the art alone.
Don't forget, the sale runs through Thursday and ends at 11 PM EST.
