Last week Warner Bros. and Monolith Productions offered up the online beta for Gotham City Imposters and today the full game, which puts players in the shoes of Batman and Joker impersonators for a first-person shooter rumble in the streets of Gotham, is officially available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
“Gotham City Impostors is a unique first-person multiplayer shooter that delivers a completely different Batman experience that is irreverent, fun and humorous,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “The game is unlike any other on the market today and gives fans the opportunity to play the game in whichever way they want to play. We can’t wait to see reactions from players wreaking havoc in Gotham City.”
Up to 12 players can blast their blast their way through Gotham City with all manner of gadgets including spring boots, grappling hooks, boomerangs and gliders. As we play through our characters level-up and gain access to an array of customization options to create our own unique imposter. We can create custom weapon loadouts and have an assortment of explosives on hand to wreak havoc on our opponents.
Gotham City Imposters features five maps (Crime Alley, Amusement Mile, Ace Chemical, The Docks and Gotham Power) and four modes (Team Deathmatch, Fumigation or Psych Warfare and Challenge mode) all of which are inspired by the Batman universe. It will set you back 1200 MP on Xbox LIVE and $11.99 on PSN.
To add to the mayhem a free DLC pack will available in March that brings the new 25th Floor map, along with 100 new customization options including weapons, support items and costumes.
