Grasshopper Manufacture and WB Interactive reveal the necromantic villain from the upcoming zombie-slaying cheerleader action game.
I keep trying to place the voice but I just can't. Any James Gunn super fans out there able to pick out the voice of the actor playing the goth villain Swan in Lollipop Chainsaw? Gunn, the Slither and Super director who is providing the script for the game has said in the past that the game's voice cast will be peppered with alumni from his films and I kind of secretly hoped that he would just use gravelly-voiced Michael Rooker for all of the roles and call it a day.
Anyway, the new character trailer gives us the basics of the story: Swan is a fed-up goth who's not too happy with high school life and unleashes armies of the undead, and it's up to our plucky, chainsaw-wielding heroine to take him down. Beyond that, it's any guess what manner of elaborate, grotesque weirdness and/or hilarity Gunn and Suda51 have cooked up for the game's plot.
Lollipop Chainsaw will be available on the PS3 and 360 sometime later in 2012.
