Windows Phone 7 To Get a Quartet of Xbox Live Titles

Posted 1/5/12 10:56 am EST by Charles Webb in News, Xbox 360, Xbox Live Arcade

Recent titles from Namco Bandai and Halfbrick are making the leap to WP7 devices.

Microsoft has unveiled four new titles coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace on Windows 7 phones. The new games of Age of Zombies from Halfbrick, geoDefense Swarm from Critical Thought, Tamagotchi from Namco Bandai and Bullet Asylum from UberGeekGames. The first three titles are actually getting second or even third lives on the platform after making appearances on iOS and Android devices in the past.

Here's the synopses for the four games:

Age of Zombies (pictured above)

Lock and load through the history of time as a tough-as-nails commando named Barry Steakfries, who is looking for nothing more than to shoot some zombies and make it back in time for a hearty dinner.

The evil Professor Brains has sent hordes of undead to the furthest reaches of time to destroy mankind, but Steakfries won’t be taking that lying down. He’ll take it with a gun and witty remarks.

Shoot up ninjas, mummies, cavemen and all manner of historical undead zombies!

Five time periods to eliminate the zombie invasion!

Massive bosses and a huge variety of weapons and explosives!

Bonus Survival mode to take your zombie-blasting skills to the next level!

geoDefense Swarm

goeDefense created a whole new style of Tower Defense... fast, frenetic, kinetic and strategic all at the same time. And geoDefense Swarm ups the ante with even more action, and more options. With geoDefense Swarm there are no paths except for the ones you make. And you have to think ahead, because Tower placement can be critical.

Bullet Asylum

Tamagotchi

Interact with cute clouds, playful plants and gleeful geysers to raise the ultimate pet: An entire planet! Keep your Tamagotchi well-fed with fresh fruit and tickle them until they fall down laughing! Play with the environmental creatures called Gaiatchi! Eat, dance, play and even poop your way to a happier and healthier planet!
