Maybe? BeefJack seemed to think so on Monday.
Earlier this week, Team Meat, the gang behind Super Meat Boy tweeted that their deviously tough platformer had reached platinum level with over one million sales out in the wild. Super Meat Boy was included as part of Steam's recent big holidays sales including the regular Humble Indie Bundle, and the game was part of the Great Gift Pile achievements, leading many gamers to finally snatch up the game.
Now here's where things get a little more interesting: in reporting the big sales milestone, news site Beefjack also reported that Team Meat announced that they were hard at work on a new project as well as planting their flag for Xbox 360 exclusivity for Super Meat Boy. BeefJack has since issued a retraction to the latter point, but there's nothing in the last couple of weeks' worth of Team Meat's Twitter feed indicating that the developer is working on a new project. Now this either means that the site was woefully in error about one of Team Meat's recent Tweets (anything is possible) or Team Meat has simply removed the offending tweet for whatever reason (it happens to all of us).
