It has only been a month or so since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 took control of our gaming consoles, but Infinity Ward has already revealed that the first batch of DLC will be clogging our download queue as early as next month.
Speaking to gamers via the Call of Duty ELITE TV program, “Roll Call,” (which is exclusive to paid ELITE members) Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling stated the "full season of content for Modern Warfare 3 kicks off for Elite subscribers January 24th on Xbox Live." From the sound of things players who don't subscribe to ELITE may have to wait a little longer to get a chance at the new content.
Bowling didn't reveal any specific details regarding the upcoming premium content but he did hint the additional content would cover Spec Ops along with “a variety of things that players have never seen before.” Obviously, we're not really sure what that means, but we'll definitely be killing people and hope some new game modes show up to keep Modern Warfare 3 fresh.
As always the DLC pack will undoubtedly see a later release date for those of you playing MW3 on PS3 or PC platforms.
UPDATE: Looks like Robert Bowling tweeted a nice little sneak peek for us. It's a screenshot Park, a new map that will apparently be part of January's DLC release. Check it out below...
